What Is Aegis Surface Protection?
AEGIS Microbe Shield® is a quaternary silane-based antimicrobial technology designed to bond directly to treated surfaces. The invisible, colourless and odourless layer helps inhibit the growth of stain- and odor-causing bacteria, mold, mildew, fungi and algae between routine cleanings.
Topically applied Aegis provides an aftermarket alternative to antimicrobial protection built into products during manufacturing. Once bonded, it is designed to protect the treated surface around the clock for up to 90 days.

This bonded layer helps control microbial growth on the treated surface around the clock without changing its appearance, texture or normal usability. Aegis complements regular cleaning and disinfection—it does not replace them.
Which Microorganisms Is AEGIS Microbe Shield® Effective Against?+
AEGIS technology is designed to inhibit a broad range of microbes on treated surfaces, including gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, fungi, algae, mold and mildew. Common high-touch applications include upholstery, door handles, shared technology, elevator surfaces and handrails.
